The manufacture of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers generates up to 50% less emissions and impact on water resources compared to generic viscose. ECOVERO™ fibers are produced with cellulose obtained from renewable wood resources as raw materials. Lenzing buys wood and pulp from responsibly managed forests and certifications show that the material is obtained from sustainable sources. A special manufacturing system allows LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose fibers to be identified in the final product, even after long processing and conversions through the value chain. Environmentally conscious consumers can be assured that retailers and brands include genuine and environmentally responsible LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose in their products.
